Creating Matematical Graphics

Apple mac Tigger comes with a new program called grapher. The program creates all kinds of nice mathematical formulas, such as 2 and 3-d graphs of polynomials, sine, cosine, differential equations, implict equations, vector fields, etc. I think it is great. For me it is not better because I couldn't find a way of creating graphics from external data.
